Bodies of Work

Quarry Series” – A series of rough, rustic and textured paintings inspired by unearthed ground and abandoned buildings, 2015

“Frolic”, a series of lively paintings on paper and canvas inspired by gardens in my mind, 2013

“Stow Lake Series”, 2013, –A group of paintings on canvas using acrylic paint, house paint and collage.  These paintings are barren waterscapes with collaged on naive bird drawing inspired by my weekly walks at Stow Lake.

“Meanderings” – A series of paintings exploring loose marks and brush strokes that stroll briskly across the canvas linking whimsical shapes that chatter with one another.

Follow the Lines”- A series of whimsical monotypes using reverse line, collograph and other printmaking techniques.

“Mexican Series”- 25 paintings on paper and canvas inspired by two painting retreats in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

“Seaweed Series”- 8 pastel drawings on paper inspired by daily trips to the same location in Big Sur, Ca. 

“Agnes Series”- 20 paintings inspired by the life of the painter Agnes Martin.

“Afloat Series”- 12 non-objective monoprints, hand pressed, using acrylic paint and a limited palette.

“Thailand Series”- 20 paintings, acrylic on paper, inspired by two trips to Thailand.

“Vietnam Series”– 8 paintings on paper and canvas, inspired by a trip to Vietnam
