Biography

Originally from Chicago, Diane Goldstein, a San Francisco painter and printmaker, emphasizes line and shape in her Mexican series. The lines stroll or stride briskly across the canvas linking whimsical shapes that chatter with one another.  A process painter, she delights in watching the figurative and abstract shapes interact with each other telling an elusive story. 

She has exhibited in many solo and group shows in the San Francisco Bay area, Southern California and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
